Does MMR matters?

Have you ever experienced from the start of the game and arguing for who will go in mid? They always arguing about their MMR. "I have higher MMR than you so I must be in middle lane". When a player said this to me I will stop arguing and go to the other lanes and will be focus on playing. Stop arguing to your team with a nonsense topic and have a 1 goal, to win the fight.

MMR matters because it distinguish different skilled players in every plays. For example, 1000 MMR fight with 7000 MMR, it is impossible to play with this gap of MMR because 7000 MMR is obviously win the fight without an effort. So, it matters with this situation of gap but if it is just 2000 MMR to 3000 MMR, it is possible to play with this gap because it is just 1000 MMR gap they will have an equal effort to show.

But like in different situation the "SMURFS" (found in this blog) they abuse their skill by creating a new account and play it for better MMR and for less effort. I don't like these "SMURFS" because they just abuse their skills. Even though i have an improving skill in Dota 2, i didn't ever tried to "SMURFS' because it cannot enhance my skill.

Just practice and practice!! Until Someday you will become a part of Dota 2 "Pro-players".
